On April 24, 1983, a members' meeting was held, and the inauguration ceremony was scheduled for September 18, 1983 (Sunday) at 7:00 PM at St. Aiden Primary School. Datuk Tang Xianqin, Liu Hangu, and Chairman Zheng Haiqin received support from the Chaozhou drum team sent by the Chaozhou Association of Negeri Sembilan, and dozens of fellow countrymen attended the event, displaying their commendable enthusiasm. In addition, the Malacca Chaozhou Association sent four lion dance troupes, and dozens of fellow countrymen were also present. The leaders and board members of both associations also attended the event, and we are sincerely grateful for their presence. The banquet on that day was grand, and more than ten social leaders from various places actively attended, making the scene lively.

The association initially borrowed premises at No. 8, Oriental Garden, with a monthly rent of RM200.00. After the establishment of the association, in addition to taking care of the welfare of fellow countrymen, it also strengthened the friendship and cooperation among them. We also collaborated with various local associations to contribute to local education and welfare. At the same time, we maintained contact with the Bahau Chinese Association and participated in the Negeri Sembilan Federation and the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Assembly Hall for the members. Our only wish at the time was to have our own clubhouse. Apart from using the premises at Oriental Garden, we also moved to Taman ADBE and Sunan Garden. Encouraged by the chairman Datuk Tang Xianqin, the board members deeply felt the importance of having their own clubhouse. Finally, with the joint efforts of former chairman Datuk Tang Xianqin (1983-1992) and Ng Peng Lim(黄炳霖) (April 25, 1992, to 2015), we successfully purchased a clubhouse. Through the collective efforts of the board members and the assistance of the Bahaur-Chinese Association and fellow countrymen, our fundraising efforts were encouraging, and we raised more than RM400,000. In 1993, we purchased the current clubhouse for RM295,000, located at No. 15, Jalan Dato' Besar, 72100 Bahau, N.S., and carried out renovations. At the same time, we received a generous donation of RM20,000 from the esteemed community member Ng Peng Lim (黄炳霖), which was used for the excellent scholarship for members' children, named the Ng Peng Lim Scholarship.

After the end of World War II, to take care of the welfare of the Chaozhou fellow countrymen in Bahau, our predecessors purchased items such as tables, chairs, bowls, plates, and tents for use during wedding banquets and funeral occasions. In 1981, under the leadership of community leaders Zheng Qingquan PJK(郑清泉PJK), Tang Yingjun(唐因均), Qiu Jingquan, Liu Hangu(刘汉贵), Wu Gengshi(吴康仕), Tang Renzhou(唐仁州), Tang Zongren(唐宗仁), Tang Xiyu(唐希裕), Tang Renji(唐仁济), Tang Peilin(唐培霖), Qiu Zhihua(邱志华), and others, plans were made to reorganize the Bahau -Chaozhou Fellow Countrymen Welfare Association. During a symposium held on August 5th of the same year, Qiu Jingquan (邱景泉)was appointed as the chairman, and on the spot, they raised a fund of RM45,020.

During the members' meeting on August 25, 1981, Datuk Tang Xianqin(唐贤钦), Liu Hangu(刘汉贵), and Zheng Haiqin(郑海钦), among others, unanimously agreed that the name of the association was too ordinary and should be changed to "Bahau-Chaozhou Association" for greater accuracy. As a result, Datuk Tang Xianqin, Qiu Jingquan, Liu Hangu, Zheng Haiqin, Tang Peilin, Zheng Qingquan PJK, and Tang Renji were elected as a 7-member committee to prepare for registration. Approval for registration was obtained on August 10, 1982, with registration certificate number P.P.M.327/82(6)P.P.P./N.S.3/82.
